Courtenay Sport uprated steel rods are manufactured in Scandinavia from Certified SAE 4340 chrome-moly steel vacuumed to remove impurities, are shot peened to stress relieve the metal and have bronze gudgeon pin bushings are made to withstand higher impact force. They are far stronger and lighter than the standard ‘OE’ items and are packaged in weight matched sets balanced end to end +/- 1 gram. Proven in race applications to over 9,000 rpm and 600bhp for prolonged use. Ideal for all modified engines for fast road and track use, they are supplied with uprated rod bolts.

Available for ALL 1.6 and 2.0 Turbo Engines: Z16LET, Z16LEL, Z16LER, Z16LEH 79.5mm bore size pistons will require a mild rebore to ensure correct fit. 79.5mm pistons recommended when carrying out an engine rebuild on an engine that is not brand new. 79mm bore size available for Brand New Engines Z20LET, Z20LEL, Z20LER, Z20LEH and C20LET 86.5mm bore size pistons will require a mild rebore to ensure correct fit. 86.5 mm pistons recommended when carrying out an engine rebuild on an engine that is not brand new. 86mm bore size available for Brand New Engines
