Courtenay Sport Stage 1 - Hyundai i30N Gen 2
ECU Remap for i30N and N Performance:
First we carry out a full engine diagnostic test, after which the car is bench-marked to check the engines standard power. Then Exclusive Courtenay Sport base software is installed into the ECU the car is then run on our Rolling Road with full data-logging for map optimisation of the boost fueling and ignition curves to suit the car and the grade of super unleaded fuel you use. The car is then removed from the rolling road Dyno and road tested, before returning the car complete with Power and Torque Graph Print Outs.
Power increases to 340- 350 Bhp
Graphs below show a standard Gen 2 car fitted with a flex pipe on both the before and after graphs, for reference the flex pipe gives an additional 6-8 Bhp.
For best results we recommend using 99 Octane fuel such as Shell V Power, Esso Synergy Supreme + or Tesco Momentum, however, as we map to suit your car as it is presented on the day, we can also map for 97 Octane BP Ultimate at a slightly reduced power output.
Why doe the Generation 2 car power increase by so much than the Genaration 1?
The Generation 2 car is fitted with the same engine however the turbo has been completely reworked, it features and new larger flow exhaust manifold casting the exhaust - turbine wheel is bigger whilst the compressor
now features a larger billet alloy wheel, the compressor housing is also reworked for the larger wheel and and unususally the flow through the turbo has been reversed so the flow is now anticlockwise which better suits the exhaust manifold flow in this instalation.
Turbo Specification Changes in Brief
Turbine Compressor Wheel (cold side) +4mm
Exhaust Wheel (hot side) +6mm
Turbo inlet up from 53 to 56mm to match the 90 degree bend inlet casting.
Width on manifold collector +14 mm
