| Uprated Exhaust Mount manufactured from a high temperature polyurethane material in red with a Shore A hardness of 67, compared to the original rubber mounts which measure 55 Shore A. Note: Supplied Indiviually These mounts are much stronger, more durable, with much less flex due to the material type and the reduction in size the of the centre cut-out, offer far greater resistance to tearing and rot resulting in much less exhaust movement. OE Exhaust Rubbers are prone to cracking and failing, quite often causing an exhaust knock often most noticeable on start up. Ideal for any standard or modified fast road vehicle; these exhaust mounts are equally at home on the track too. Road and Track tested on Astra H VXR. 10-15% Stronger than the OE Rubber Mounts. The number required per car will vary but this mount will suit Astra G, Astra H, Vectra B, Vectra C, Meriva A, Meriva B, Signum, Omega, Corsa C, Tigra B, Zafira A and Zafira B where OE Rubber Mount 90466668 is specified. For use on standard and stainless steel sports exhaust systems. Quantity Required: Varies Per Car. Order as Required. Example: Astra H VXR uses 4 Mounts of this type for the centre section on factory systems. On aftermarket systems such as Piper 3" 6 can be used, 4 on the centre section and 2 for the tail box. Other systems use as required to replace the OE rubber mount. Note: Ensure these mounts are not put under undue strain (used inappropriately) as they can be prone to tearing in these situations. |
