DOT 5.1 fluid has a higher specification than the mainstream DOT 4 and is intended for fast road and occasional track day use, however with big brake conversions that are more capable of dissipating heat, this fluid is also suitable regular track day use.
Minimum Dry Boiling Point of DOT 5.1 fluid is 260 degrees.
